Why me?

We've all heard the campaigns for environmental responsibility:  "We only have ten years before the ice caps melt and flood our coastal cities." "What kind of earth do you want to leave your kids and dogs?" "We only get one earth!"  In the past, these warnings were disregarded pending further scientific investigation or ignored as they were eclipsed by the possible obliteration of civilized life on earth caused by a nuclear exchange between the United States and the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union is gone and the preponderance of scientific evidence in journals like National Geographic, Newsweek, and People is indisputable.  We need to act and we need to act now!  Carbon emissions must be lowered - the output of other greenhouse gases must be decreased.

Toward the goal of saving the earth, we all must act.  It is not enough for the poor and the homeless to shoulder the load of preserving the environment.  The homeless have cardboard signs to make and pedestrians to petition.  Frankly, they do not have the time or energy to continue saving the environment alone.  Our planet is a legacy we all must work together to conserve.  We can do our part by living a little simpler, a little cleaner, a little greener

Living green doesn’t mean you have to build your house out of worn tires and have a roof of solar panels.  There are many things suburbanites can do with very little inconvenience or cost to themselves and their families that would reap huge benefits for the environment.  Below we present some exciting new prototypes which, if globally adopted, could save many tons of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere every year.
